ITT Introduces New Primary-Secondary Header

ITT has unveiled their new Bell & Gossett Primary-Secondary Header (PSH). The new PSH is a combination air separator and manifold that creates independent primary and secondary circuits.

The new Primary-Secondary Header, also known as a low-loss header, includes a purge valve allowing users to easily remove any debris collected at the bottom of the vessel. The valve also allows an air vent to release air trapped in the system. The PSH features a reliable steel body, brass air vents and drain valves and an epoxy resin painted steel body in all seven sizes.

The PSH has a working pressure of 150 PSI with an operating temperature ranging from 32 degree Fahrenheit to upwards of 220 degree Fahrenheit. With a connection size between one and four inches, the seven models of the Primary-Secondary Header have a maximum flow ranging between 11 and 247 GPM’s. The standard insulation on all models prevents water vapors from entering from the outside, eliminating the formation of condensation on the body of the PSH.

Other Primary-Secondary Header features include:

· Hydraulically separation of primary and secondary circuits

· Separates and collects impurities in the circuits
· Provides ease of installation with no complicated piping
· Eliminates strainer, air vent, and air separator
