The leaders are selected according to a systematic corporate sustainability assessment across an array of categories, including climate change strategies, energy consumption, human resources development, knowledge management, stakeholder relations and corporate governance.
“We believe there is a direct link between sustainable business practices and long-term business success, placing our sustainability strategy at the core of ITT’s business model,” said Steve Loranger, chairman, president and chief executive officer, ITT.  “We are very pleased by this recognition, and accept it as part of our ongoing journey.  Our sustainability approach will continue to shrink the company’s environmental footprint and we will continue to make investments in people and technology that have a positive impact on our customers, employees, and communities.”
