ITT Standard Receives ASME Nuclear Accreditation

BUFFALO, N.Y., May 1st, 2010 – ITT Standard, a leading manufacturer of heat transfer equipment, announced today that it has obtained nuclear accreditation under Section III of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, a code that sets technical standards for the design and construction of items in nuclear power plants. an ASME Certificate of Authorization as a Manufacturer of Section III, Division 1 Pressure Vessels, Class 2 & 3. ASME Certificate

ITT has a long history of providing both ASME Section III and Section VIII heat exchangers for various power generation applications, including nuclear. In fact, ITT has been supplying heat transfer solutions to the global power industry for over 90 years.
