Lebanon seminar explores the benefits of eSV with Lowara users

More than 80 customers and associates of ITT Lowara attended a seminar on the new eSV pump series in December 2010. Delegates were made up of electro-mechanical consulting firms, mechanical and water treatment contractors, and 10 staff from Lebanon-based distributor Gazzaoui (Rafic Gazzaoui & Co. SAL).
The event was held at the Moevenpick Hotel & Resort in the historic city of Beirut, and delegates were welcomed by Mahmoud Khaywa, Pumps Division Manager at Gazzaoui.  Following this, Georges Lteif, ITT Lowara Middle East and Africa Business Development Manager introduced ITT Lowara as part of Residential and Commercial Water (RCW) ITT division.
The core element of the seminar has been addressed by Massimo Speranza, ITT Lowara Marketing Manager, who spoke about the new vertical multistage pump eSV, and the soon-available new electronic control cards for booster sets, SM30 and SD60.
The highlight of the seminar was the eSV, and Massimo provided a detailed description of the range and its new features, such as the ability to replace the mechanical seal without removing the motor, i-Alert, Dry Run sensor, the new hydraulic pump design and its high efficiency. He then explored the benefits from using the new product in different applications, which include energy saving, lower environmental impact, low maintenance and high reliability.
Delegates were told how the introduction of the new control boards underlined just how ITT Lowara was making strides in providing technologically advanced products to make life easier for the user. Examples of this include remote control of the pressurization system, the ability to send signals in the case of alarms, and several programmable operating points.
The informative event concluded with a buffet dinner for delegates, and the knowledge of the speakers, the facilities in the hotel and the seafront location all combined to make it a highly successful and enjoyable evening.
